Diode laser is used to permanently rid you of hair on different parts of your body. The machine uses 808nm diode laser, which is effective and tested standard during the treatment permanent body epilation using diode laser. How does the machine work?
Wave with 808nm frequency affects the skin and the melanin in follicles absorbs the light energy and transforms it into heat energy. The hair is removed.
How does it differ from other epilation lasers?
Traditional lasers penetrate the skin relatively aggressively to heat up the follicle to 65°C and by doing so destroy it. Our machine heats up follicles gradually, using low frequency and repeated pulses. The temperature does not immediately shoot up, but get progressively higher, until it is high enough to destroy the follicle.

There are three stages of hair growth – Anagen, Catagen and Telogen. Before the treatment

Before the treatment it is necessary to properly shave the treated area. We perform the treatment on dry, clean skin. The use of deodorant, makeup, lotion etc. is forbidden before the treatment. The hair should be freshly shaven.
We start with an initial consultation with the client, where we talk about the appearance and condition of their skin to prevent any possible problems. The client is presented with written statement, where the treatment is outlined, as well as contraindications.
We perform the treatment on dry, clean skin. The use of deodorant, makeup, lotion etc. is forbidden before the treatment. The hair should be freshly shaven. We apply a little bit of powder on the skin, in order to ensure smooth movement of the laser applicator.
During the whole course of treatment, it is necessary for client to wear protective googles.
We perform the treatment by continuous strokes, the cooling system is in direct contact with the skin. We do not perform the treatment on tattooed areas or places with big freckles.
Possible risks
After treatment, the area is slightly reddish, which is a normal reaction and indicates that the procedure is performed correctly. Sunbathing is prohibited for at least 10 days after treatment and it is necessary to protect the skin with a protective factor of at least SPF30. It is not recommended to use irritants. Further treatment will take place after 3-5 weeks.
